Terms of service

Last updated: August 17, 2026

These terms govern your use of Therapy Blogs. By creating an account you agree to them. The short version: we draft and stage content for you with compliance assistance built in; you review, edit, approve, and own what gets published under your license.

The service

Therapy Blogs drafts blog and social content for licensed professionals, verifies your license against available public records (automatically against the California registry; against your state board's public lookup elsewhere), appends your disclosure footer, and — when you approve a piece — publishes it to your connected site or makes it available to copy. Drafts are generated with the assistance of artificial-intelligence writing and research tools and staged for your review; AI-generated drafts can contain errors or omissions, which is why nothing publishes without your review and approval. Access may be by public signup, free trial, or invite; features may change as the service develops.

Your responsibilities

You are the licensed professional, and everything published on your platforms is published under your professional responsibility. By approving a piece of content you confirm that you have reviewed it and that it is accurate and appropriate to publish under your license. Therapy Blogs' compliance checks are an aid, not a substitute for your professional judgment.

  • Provide accurate account and license information, and keep it current.
  • Review content before approving it for publication.
  • Use the service only for lawful professional marketing of your own practice.
  • Do not submit client or patient information anywhere in the service — including writing samples and topic requests.

What we don't promise

Therapy Blogs is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Our compliance features are assistive: they reflect our reading of published advertising rules (such as state licensing-board disclosure requirements), but regulators interpret their own rules, requirements change, and automated review can miss things. Final responsibility for published material stays with the licensee. We do not guarantee search rankings, client volume, or any business outcome. License verification relies on public records being accurate and available.

Content ownership

Content we draft for you is yours once published or approved. If you cancel, your published posts stay on your site. We may use anonymized examples of our work unless you ask us not to.

Billing

Paid plans bill monthly and renew automatically until you cancel. If your plan starts with a free trial, the trial length and the price that applies afterward are shown at signup, and billing begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Invite-based founding offers state their own trial terms at signup. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, effective at the end of the current billing period; amounts already billed are not refunded for partial periods. Founding members keep their founding rate for as long as their subscription stays active.

Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Therapy Blogs' total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content you approved and published. If a third party brings a claim against Therapy Blogs arising from content you approved and published, from inaccurate information you provided, or from your breach of these terms, you agree to indemnify us for the resulting costs.

Termination

You can cancel at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, misrepresent a license, or misuse the service.

Changes

We may update these terms; if we make material changes we will email the address on your account before they take effect. These terms are governed by California law.
